Our Promise

We treat the trust you place in us as a privilege and we will respect the confidentiality of our working relationship.

1.

We will abide by the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada Code of Professional Conduct. We will act with integrity, honesty, and openness in our conversations with you and in everything we do for you. We will treat you, your staff, your customers, and your suppliers with respect and consideration.

2.

We will not disclose information relating to your business to a third party or staff without your express permission.

3.

We will file all HST/source deduction forms electronically by the due date unless it has been arranged with your Accountant for them to file on your behalf or we have not received sufficient information from you to do so on time.

4.

We will meet the CRA compliance deadlines, and if unable to do this due to circumstances beyond our control, we will communicate this with you.

5.

We will take reasonable care in ascertaining your GST/HST obligations and ensure that GST/HST laws are applied correctly based on the information available to us.

6.

We will communicate regularly with your Accountant to seek clarification of some matters where necessary.

7.

We will empower you around your finances by providing you with timely and accurate financial information and make ourselves available to discuss these with you on a regular basis.

8.

When we become familiar with your products, services, and your target market, we will actively seek quality referrals for your business.

9.

You and your staff will follow the systems that we have set up for you to gather the information we need at the frequency agreed.

1.

You will act with integrity, honesty, and openness with all members of our team at all times. You will treat all our representatives with respect and consideration. You will let me know immediately of any concerns you have about our work or conversations.

2.

You will not induce or attempt to induce one of our employees or contractors to work for you directly. If you do so, you acknowledge that we reserve the right to charge you a $2,500.00 finders fee.

3.

You will provide copies of vendor invoices and any receipts in order to claim the correct GST/HST. You understand your record-keeping obligations and are aware of the consequences of not keeping adequate records. You will take responsibility for ensuring transactions are genuine tax deductions.

4.

You understand that using the business bank and credit card accounts for personal use complicates the processing and is contrary to advice from the CRA. It also results in the bookkeeping taking extra time to complete and thus is out of scope on any fixed fee contracts.

5.

You will make yourself available to discuss our questions and/or your Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and other reports on a regular basis. 

6.

You agree to abide by our Payment Terms and will ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the payment in full. A failure to do so will result in an extra fee.

7.

If you are happy with the services we provide, you will give consideration to referring other business owners who you believe would benefit from an association with us.

8.
